Alice in Wonderland debuted last Friday, with hilarious, witty and illusional character personalities. The audience reacted to the play with laughter, shock and confusion. Mr. L directed this fantastic fantasy with love and support. Before practice everyday Mr. L has a group gathering to talk about the areas that needed to be changed and to encourage the cast. At the end of the group discussion they offer up their performance to God, and ask for a blessed show. The favorite character in the play, chosen by the cast was the Mad Hatter, Jon Keller, he was funny, and witty and the most confusing character of all. With flips, and creeping across the stage and demands for Alice, he accomplishes his role as The Mad Hatter.
Mr. L quoted his favorite in the play, said by Humpty Dumpty, “When I choose a word, it means just what I choose it to mean, neither more nor less.” Such an insight into the way Mr. L chooses the plays to honor God and our school. The cast did such a great job on the play and we congratulate you for your accomplishments!
